Best Use of Innovation
Having been nominated for the BoBs Awards - Best Use of Innovation, for their UK production Belleplates, Maurice and Sheila Davies were very pleased to reach the finals. They are pictured above at the gala presentation ceremony in March 2003 with the well known snooker celebrity, Dennis Taylor, and the Chairman of the judging panel, Anton Syrocki, delighted at receiving the winning award.
Anton Syrocki’s comments in the BoBs Guide are: "From an original, simple idea a radical new product was created that competes on all criteria with a product that has been in place for centuries. Innovation in its wider sense was shown by this small, family company not only in product invention and design but also in quality, pricing, transportation, manufacturing processes and distribution partnership."
