McNOOT winners at the MIDLANDS CRE
An independent panel of church leaders voted Belleplates as the product to win the McNOOT award at Midlands CRE (Christian Resources Exhibitions) at the NEC in Birmingham.
The McNOOT award stands for - “My Church Needs One Of Those”.
Maurice Davies' 'Belleplates' beat competition from other new designs, including a solar-powered talking Bible and Harry Potter 'everlasting' candles.
Mr Davies said he was delighted to win the award, which was made after he and seven other candidates made a three-minute presentation to a judging panel.
The belleplates start from pounds 309 for a basic set to a 25-note set for pounds 529 - about one tenth of the price of the bronze variety. They are now used in more than 30 countries worldwide.
